Framework

REPORTING

Reports

Reports can be customized using report parameters and filtered by organization, machine group, machine ID or view definition. You can output reports to PDF, HTML, or Excel document and brand reports with your own logo. Reports can be scheduled to run automatically and on a recurring basis. They can be private or shared, distributed to the inboxes of VSA users or to e-mail recipients. An optional “requires approval” step is provided, just prior to distribution.

DASHBOARD

View Dashboard

Gives you a quick view of the total system’s status, highlighting the machine IDs and tasks you need to work on first. The results displayed by the dashboard depend on the Machine ID/Group ID filter. You can manage tasks and send messages to other users using the dashboard. You can even customize the dashboard display using Home > Layout Dashboard.

Layout Dashboard

Displays/hides each section of the View Dashboard page and sets the order in which they appear, from top to bottom.

Dashboard List

This is where monitoring data and triggered alarm conditions are displayed. Each of the Dashboard Views contains one or more panes of monitoring data.

Settings

This page allows you to customize the look and feel of the dashboard pages, including skinning, refresh times, and chart zone colors.
